    For almost of our tours, once tour is confirmed and fully paid but for one reason they cancel the tour, the following charges will apply in the event of cancellation prior to tour commencement:

    • More than 30 days before arrival: No charge
    • 15-30 days before arrival: 10% of total tour price.
    • 7-15 days before arrival: 50% of total tour price.
    • 4-7 days before arrival: 75% of total tour price.
    • Within 3 days before arrival: 100% tour price.

    In case of an unexpected situation/ bad weather causes an effect on your trip after commencement, we serve the right to change the itinerary of your booked tour for the safety of all clients in the group. If there are more than one solution, we will ask for your permission and agreement to do the next step. In such kind of cancellation, the refund of any payment on the un-used portion of transportation service, hotel service, car rental or tours will be given.

Itineraries

Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Giang

OPTION 1: Departs on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings

7:30–7:45 PM: Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi and depart for Ha Giang by sleeper bus. You will arrive between 3:00 AM and 4:00 AM the following day. Check in at a homestay and have a short sleep until the morning.

After breakfast, you will begin trekking through terraced rice fields for about 1.5 hours. We will visit some villages to get a taste of authentic rural daily life and experience the culture and customs of the Tay people in these villages.

OPTION 2: Departs on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings

6:00–6:30 AM: Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi and depart for Ha Giang by bus. You will have a short break with some photo opportunities along the way.

12:30–1:00 PM: Have lunch in Ha Giang.

2:00 PM: Leave Ha Giang City for Quan Ba. On the way, you can take some photos of the magnificent views of the rice fields, mountains, and valleys.

3:30 PM: Stop at Heaven's Gate, enjoy the fresh air, and see the panoramic view of Tam Son Town from above. Afterwards, we head to the countryside, where you will be welcomed by local Tay families.

4:00 PM: Spend some time resting and freshening up before trekking around the village. You can discover the rammed-earth house of the Black Dao people, which is surrounded by terraced rice fields.

Then, you will have a delicious dinner at one of the local homestays.

Day 2: Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Meo Vac – Ma Pi Leng – Dong Van

6:30–7:00 AM: Have breakfast, enjoy the fresh air and breathtaking mountain scenery, check out of the homestay, and get ready for the next experience as you continue your journey to Meo Vac.

After lunch in Meo Vac, continue to Dong Van and conquer Ma Pi Leng Pass. It is one of the most beautiful rocky mountain landscapes, a unique landscape, and a famous destination in Vietnam.

You will have the chance to stand on the steep cliffs overlooking the Nho Que River, which flows from China through Vietnam for about 46 km.

After that, you will trek through the small villages where the H'mong people live and through extraordinary mountainous landscapes. You will enjoy the incredible views of the Happiness Road below.

4:30 PM: Check in at the hotel in Dong Van Town.

7:00 PM: Have dinner and enjoy the local nightlife.

Day 3: Dong Van – Thon Tha

If you are here on a Sunday, you can discover the very exciting and colorful Dong Van Market, where people from a dozen ethnic tribes living in the surrounding areas, dressed in their traditional clothing, come to sell their goods.

After breakfast, you will continue your journey to the Dong Van UNESCO Global Geopark and enjoy the fresh atmosphere.

On the way, you will visit the H'Mong King's Palace. This is one of the most special cultural and historical monuments in Dong Van, reflecting the history of the Vietnam War and the life of the local ethnic people.

12:00 PM: Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch. Then, continue trekking with the guide, experiencing the breathtaking natural scenery, visiting the centuries-old villages, and exploring the traditional houses of the Tay ethnic minority.

After trekking through the village, you will experience a warm welcome from a hospitable Tay family who offers overnight accommodation in their stilt house. Although this place only provides basic comfort, you will find the stay an unforgettable experience.

7:00 PM: Have a memorable dinner with a local Tay family. Overnight at a homestay.

Day 4: Thon Tha – Khuoi My – Hanoi

8:00 AM: After breakfast, the trek begins through a green valley and up the mountain connecting Thon Tha to Khuoi My Village. It is quite a challenging mountain trek, but peaceful and very memorable. Today is an absolutely unforgettable trekking day because Khuoi My Village is home to more than 62 Dao Ao Dai ethnic minority households located at the top of a mountain. Here, the unique, unspoiled nature merges with the traditional life of the local people.

12:00 PM: Take a break for a delicious picnic lunch near the terraced rice fields. Then, you will continue trekking through the beautiful palm forest and discover tranquil mountains and charming villages in this almost untouched area.

3:30 PM: Return to Hanoi.

10:30–11:00 PM: Arrive back in Hanoi. Tour ends.
