    For almost of our tours, once tour is confirmed and fully paid but for one reason they cancel the tour, the following charges will apply in the event of cancellation prior to tour commencement:

    • More than 45 days prior to trip departure: No charge (Full refund will be made but transaction fee will be paid by you).
    • 30-45 days before arrival: 10% of total tour price.
    • 15-29 days before arrival: 50% of total tour price.
    • 7-14 days before arrival: 75% of total tour price.
    • Within 7 days before arrival: 100% tour price.

    Note:

    • The above fees are subject to an added bank transaction fee.
    • There will be no refund given for any unused or missed ground arrangements, sightseeing, meals or hotel accommodations.
    • For no show cases, there will be no refund.

    In case of an unexpected situation/ bad weather causes an effect on your trip after commencement, we serve the right to change the itinerary of your booked tour for the safety of all clients in the group. If there are more than one solution, we will ask for your permission and agreement to do the next step. In such kind of cancellation, the refund of any payment on the un-used portion of transportation service, hotel service, car rental or tours will be given.

Itineraries

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh city - Cu Chi tunnels - Cai Be

Pick-up from your hotel.

Travel to the Cu Chi Tunnels and take part in the following activities:

  • Watch a short introductory video about how the tunnels were built.
  • Explore the Cu Chi Tunnels. For safety reasons, visit only the first level, which is around 20–100 meters long.
  • See the ventilation system, made of bamboo pipes and disguised on the surface as termite mounds.
  • See the bombs, weapons, and traps used during the Vietnam War.
  • Enjoy tea, cassava (a guerrilla food during the war), and peanut salt.
  • Visit the shooting range (AK-47, M16, M60, etc.).

Finish the tour at Cu Chi and continue to the next destination. Have lunch at a restaurant in the Mekong Delta.

After lunch, continue to Cai Be Town and stay at a homestay. Experience local life in the village and try cooking dinner at your host’s house.

Day 2: Cai Be floating market - Ho Chi Minh city

Early in the morning, get up in the village and enjoy a local breakfast.

Take a leisurely boat trip to explore Cai Be Town and enjoy the day’s activities:

  • Visit a floating market that is smaller than Cai Rang Floating Market.
  • Visit a local family business to see how they make coconut candy, puffed rice, popcorn, and rice paper.
  • Meet a local singer and listen to Vietnamese folk music in the shade of a tropical orchard.
  • Continue cruising to Tan Phong Island, join a cooking class, and enjoy lunch featuring dishes you’ve prepared.
  • After lunch, cycle through the village to learn about local life.
  • Take a rowing boat trip through the canal.

Meet your car or van at Cai Be Pier and return to Ho Chi Minh City. End of tour.
