    For almost of our tours, once tour is confirmed and fully paid but for one reason they cancel the tour, the following charges will apply in the event of cancellation prior to tour commencement:

    • More than 45 days prior to trip departure: No charge (Full refund will be made but transaction fee will be paid by you).
    • 30-45 days before arrival: 10% of total tour price.
    • 15-29 days before arrival: 50% of total tour price.
    • 7-14 days before arrival: 75% of total tour price.
    • Within 7 days before arrival: 100% tour price.

    Note:

    • The above fees are subject to an added bank transaction fee.
    • There will be no refund given for any unused or missed ground arrangements, sightseeing, meals or hotel accommodations.

    In case of an unexpected situation/ bad weather causes an effect on your trip after commencement, we serve the right to change the itinerary of your booked tour for the safety of all clients in the group. If there are more than one solution, we will ask for your permission and agreement to do the next step. In such kind of cancellation, the refund of any payment on the un-used portion of transportation service, hotel service, car rental or tours will be given.

Itineraries

Day 1: Hanoi arrival

Upon arrival at Noi Bai Airport, your driver will pick you up and take you to central Hanoi. Check in at your hotel, then enjoy some free time. Overnight at your hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi - Halong overnight cruise

7:30–8:00 a.m.: Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter.

Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed aboard. Check in to your cabin and enjoy a delicious lunch at the restaurant. Afternoon activities may include visiting one of the most beautiful caves in Ha Long Bay, taking a bamboo boat ride in a floating village, relaxing or swimming on an island, and kayaking in a lagoon. Back on the boat, you can join a cooking class or a sunset cocktail party before dinner. The evening is free for you to enjoy at your leisure, or you can join the crew for a squid-fishing trip. Overnight in a private cabin on a shared cruise.

Day 3: Halong - Hanoi - street food tour

Morning tea and coffee will be served early. You can join a Tai Chi class on the sundeck or go photo hunting in the early morning.

After breakfast, activities may include (if they weren’t arranged on the first day) visiting a cave, taking a cooking class, or climbing to the top of an island for a panoramic view of Ha Long Bay. Then check out and enjoy the views of the bay as you pass many islands and islets with karst formations on the way back to the harbor.

Around 12:30 p.m. Transfer back to Hanoi. You’ll arrive in Hanoi at around 4:30 p.m.

5:30–6:00 p.m. Your local tour guide will pick you up from your accommodation and take you on a walking street-food tour to eat like a local.

The tour’s start and end points may vary depending on your location. You’ll have the chance to taste some of Hanoi’s most famous dishes, often described as “Hanoi-style fast food.” Your local guide will introduce you to Vietnamese food culture, including the ingredients and history behind popular northern dishes.

Some of the delicious dishes you may try in the Old Quarter include:

  • Thit xien nuong or nem chua ran (grilled meat skewers or fried fermented pork rolls)
  • Banh cuon or banh goi (steamed rice rolls or pillow cakes)
  • Hanoi banh mi (bread with grilled meat and vegetables)
  • Pho ga, bun doc mung, or bun cha (chicken noodle soup, noodles with pork and “doc mung,” or grilled pork with rice noodles)
  • Drinks: local beer, smoothies, mixed fruit, or egg coffee

After the tour, you’re free to continue exploring the area or take a taxi—or walk—back to your hotel. The food tour ends at around 7:30–8:00 p.m. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 4: Hanoi - Ha Giang

Departs on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings

6:00–6:30 Pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi, then depart for Ha Giang by bus. You’ll have a short break along the way, with time to take photos.

12:30–13:00 Have lunch in Ha Giang.

14:00 Leave Ha Giang City for Quan Ba. Along the way, you can take photos of the magnificent rice fields, mountains, and valleys.

15:30 Stop at Heaven’s Gate to enjoy the fresh air and panoramic views of Tam Son Town. Then head to the countryside, where local Tay families will welcome you.

16:00 Take some time to rest and freshen up before trekking around the village. You can visit a rammed-earth house belonging to the Black Dao people, surrounded by terraced rice fields.

Then enjoy a delicious dinner at a local homestay.

Day 5: Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Meo Vac – Ma Pi Leng – Dong Van

6:30–7:00: Have breakfast and enjoy the fresh air and breathtaking mountain views. Check out of the homestay and get ready for the next leg of your journey to Meo Vac.

After lunch in Meo Vac, continue to Dong Van and cross Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the most beautiful mountain passes in Vietnam, known for its unique landscape. You’ll have the chance to stand on the steep cliffs overlooking the Nho Que River, which flows from China into Vietnam for about 46 km.

Then trek through the small villages where Hmong people live and enjoy the extraordinary mountain scenery. You’ll also enjoy incredible views of the Happy Road below.

16:30 Check in at the hotel in Dong Van Town.

19:00 Have dinner and enjoy the local nightlife.

Day 6: Dong Van - Hanoi

If you’re here on a Sunday, you can explore the lively and colorful Dong Van Market, where people from the many ethnic groups in the surrounding area gather in traditional dress to sell their goods.

After breakfast, continue your journey through the Dong Van UNESCO Geopark and enjoy the fresh air.

On the way, visit the Hmong King’s Palace, one of Dong Van’s most significant cultural and historical monuments, offering insight into the Vietnam War and the lives of local ethnic groups.

12:00 Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch. Then continue trekking with your guide, taking in the breathtaking scenery, visiting centuries-old villages, and seeing the homes of the Tay ethnic minority.

15:30 Depart for Hanoi.

22:30–23:00 Arrive back in Hanoi.

Day 7: Hanoi departure

Have breakfast and enjoy some free time until your driver picks you up and transfers you to Noi Bai International Airport. End of service!
