Hanoi private food tour

17:30–18:00: The local tour guide will pick you up at your place and start the evening food tour on foot – eat like a local.

Depending on your location, the starting and ending points of the tour may be different. However, you will have the chance to taste some of the most famous dishes enjoyed by Hanoians, often described as “Hanoi-style fast food.” Your local guide will give you an insight into the intricacies and traditions of Vietnamese food culture, including details about the ingredients and historical backgrounds of popular Northern Vietnamese dishes.

Many delicious dishes are waiting for you to taste in the Old Quarter (you can request other dishes you like; any additional fees will be paid by yourself):

• Thit xien nuong or nem chua ran (grilled meat on a stick / fried fermented pork rolls)

• Banh cuon or banh goi (steamed rice rolls / pillow cake)

• Banh mi Hanoi (bread with grilled meats and vegetables)

• Pho ga or bun doc mung or bun cha (chicken noodle soup / noodles with pork and “doc mung” / grilled pork with rice noodles)

• Drinks: local beer or smoothie or mixed fruits or egg coffee.

At the end of the tour, you are free to continue exploring the area or take a taxi (or simply walk) back to your hotel. The tour ends around 19:30–20:00.
