    For almost of our tours, once tour is confirmed and fully paid but for one reason they cancel the tour, the following charges will apply in the event of cancellation prior to tour commencement:

    • More than 45 days prior to trip departure: No charge (Full refund will be made but transaction fee will be paid by you).
    • 30-45 days before arrival: 10% of total tour price.
    • 15-29 days before arrival: 50% of total tour price.
    • 7-14 days before arrival: 75% of total tour price.
    • Within 7 days before arrival: 100% tour price.

    Note:

    • The above fees are subject to an added bank transaction fee.
    • There will be no refund given for any unused or missed ground arrangements, sightseeing, meals or hotel accommodations.
    • For no show cases, there will be no refund.

  • Cancellation by Weather

    In case of an unexpected situation/ bad weather causes an effect on your trip after commencement, we serve the right to change the itinerary of your booked tour for the safety of all clients in the group. If there are more than one solution, we will ask for your permission and agreement to do the next step. In such kind of cancellation, the refund of any payment on the un-used portion of transportation service, hotel service, car rental or tours will be given.

    • From 4 to 8 years old: 50% of adult’s fare and sharing bed with parents.
    • From 9 to 11 years old: 75% of adult’s fare and using existing bed.
    • Students with ID student card: 95% of adult’s fare and using existing bed.
    • Over 11 years old: 100% of adult’s fare and using existing bed.

Itineraries

Day 1: Hanoi arrival

Upon arrival at Noi Bai Airport, your driver will pick you up and take you to central Hanoi. Check in at your hotel, then enjoy some free time. Overnight at your hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi - Mai Chau biking

7:00–8:00: Pick-up from your hotel in the Old Quarter in our comfortable van or bus.

10:00: Short break.

11:30–12:30: Stop for scenic photos of Mai Chau Valley and arrive in Mai Chau.

12:30: Enjoy a traditional lunch at our home (vegetarian options available).

14:30: Enjoy a bicycle ride with your tour guide. See farmers working in the fields, watch locals weaving scarves, and visit the surrounding peaceful villages.

17:00: Free time for cycling, walking, or shopping.

19:00: Enjoy dinner and traditional dishes prepared in the style of the native Thai people. Watch a traditional Thai dance show and try the traditional rice wine “ruou can.”

Accommodation: Bungalow/ Dormitory in Mai Chau

Day 3: Mai Chau - Pu Luong trekking - Hanoi

7:30–8:30 – Breakfast.

8:30–10:30 – Drive 35 km to Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Stop along the way to visit a chopstick factory and take photos.

10:30–12:30 – Arrive at Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Take a 10-minute break before starting the trek and enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery and stunning rice terraces.

12:30–15:30 – Enjoy lunch in the village and take a rest before resuming the trek. Then drive back to Mai Chau.

15:30 – Get in the van or bus for the drive back to Hanoi.

7:30–8:00 – Drop-off at the guest’s hotel.

Day 4: Hanoi - Halong overnight

7:30–8:00 a.m.: Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter.

Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed aboard. Check in to your cabin and enjoy a delicious lunch at the restaurant. Afternoon activities may include visiting one of the most beautiful caves in Ha Long Bay, taking a bamboo boat ride in a floating village, relaxing or swimming on an island, and kayaking in a lagoon. Back on the boat, you can join a cooking class or a sunset cocktail party before dinner. The evening is free for you to enjoy at your leisure, or you can join the crew for a squid-fishing trip. Overnight in a private cabin on a shared cruise.

Day 5: Halong - Hanoi - street food tour

Morning tea and coffee will be served early. You can join a Tai Chi class on the sundeck or go photo hunting in the early morning.

After breakfast, activities may include (if they weren’t arranged on the first day) visiting a cave, taking a cooking class, or climbing to the top of an island for a panoramic view of Ha Long Bay. Then check out and enjoy the views of the bay as you pass many islands and islets with karst formations on the way back to the harbor.

Around 12:30 p.m. Transfer back to Hanoi. You’ll arrive in Hanoi at around 4:30 p.m.

5:30–6:00 p.m. Your local tour guide will pick you up from your accommodation and take you on a walking street-food tour so you can eat like a local.

The tour’s starting and ending points may vary depending on your location. You’ll have the chance to taste some of Hanoi’s most famous dishes, often described as “Hanoi-style fast food.” Your local guide will introduce you to Vietnamese food culture, including the ingredients and history behind popular northern dishes. Some of the delicious dishes you may try in the Old Quarter include:

  • Thit xien nuong or nem chua ran (grilled meat skewers or fried fermented pork rolls)
  • Banh cuon or banh goi (steamed rice rolls or pillow cakes)
  • Hanoi banh mi (bread with grilled meat and vegetables)
  • Pho ga, bun doc mung, or bun cha (chicken noodle soup, noodles with pork and “doc mung,” or grilled pork with rice noodles)
  • Drinks: local beer, smoothies, mixed fruit, or egg coffee

After the tour, you’re free to continue exploring the area or take a taxi—or walk—back to your hotel. The food tour ends at around 7:30–8:00 p.m. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 6: Hanoi departure

Have breakfast and enjoy some free time until your driver picks you up and transfers you to Noi Bai International Airport. End of service!
