    For most of our tours, once the tour is confirmed and fully paid but for one reason they cancel the tour, the following charges will apply in the event of cancellation prior to tour commencement:

    • More than 30 days before arrival: No charge
    • 15-30 days before arrival: 10% of total tour price.
    • 7-15 days before arrival: 50% of total tour price.
    • 4-7 days before arrival: 75% of total tour price.
    • Within 3 days before arrival: 100% tour price.

    Notes:

    • There will be no refund given for any unused or missed ground arrangements, sightseeing, meals or hotel accommodations.
    • For no show cases, there will be no refund.
    • All cancellations must be in person or in writing and received by us
  • Cancellation by Weather

    In case of an unexpected situation/ bad weather causes an effect on your trip after commencement, we serve the right to change the itinerary of your booked tour for the safety of all clients in the group. If there are more than one solution, we will ask for your permission and agreement to do the next step. In such kind of cancellation, the refund of any payment on the un-used portion of transportation service, hotel service, car rental or tours will be given.

    • From 9 to 11 years old: 75% of adult’s fare and using existing bed.

    • Over 11 years old: 100% of adult’s fare and using existing bed.

Itineraries

Day 1: Hanoi - Hai Phong - Lan Ha Bay

09:00 AM – 09:30 AM: An optional transfer vehicle will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi and take you to Hai Phong, arriving at around 11:30 AM.

12:00 PM: You will be transferred by tender boat from the wharf to board our luxurious vessel, Sapphire Cruise. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed aboard with a complimentary drink. Our crew will conduct a mandatory safety briefing, after which you can check into your cabin and freshen up. Take some time to explore the vessel or admire the magical scenery as you cruise through the bay.

01:15 PM: A special lunch featuring fresh seafood and a selection of delicious favorites will be served. Dining aboard a luxury junk boat with fine food and drinks is an experience to remember. We set sail for Lan Ha Bay, passing Da Chong Islet, where you can see a lighthouse built by the French over 100 years ago.

03:00 PM: As lunch comes to an end, the cruise enters Lan Ha Bay through the Cua Van area, which is part of the Ha Long Bay region. The area is surrounded by extraordinary limestone karst landscapes. Guests can explore Ba Trai Dao Beach, kayak through the bay’s crystal-clear waters, and/or enjoy swimming.

05:00 PM: Return to the main boat and continue cruising to the overnight anchorage.

05:30 PM – 06:30 PM: Enjoy Happy Hour with a special drinks menu: buy one drink and get another one free.

07:15 PM: Savor a special dinner in the restaurant.

08:45 PM – 12:00 AM: Enjoy your free time and relax with an exotic cocktail or whatever takes your fancy. Our bar offers a wide range of wines, beers, and spirits, making it a welcome retreat after a day exploring the bay. You can book a spa treatment, enjoy onboard activities such as watching documentary films or squid fishing, or simply unwind on the rooftop deck beneath a star-filled sky.

Day 2: Lan Ha Bay

06:30 AM: Early birds are welcome to join a sunrise Tai Chi session on our upper deck. It’s an excellent way to boost your energy for the day’s adventures. Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while admiring the exquisite beauty of the bay in the early morning.

08:00 AM: Enjoy a buffet breakfast featuring some of the best local coffee and freshly squeezed fruit juices.

09:00 AM: Board our day boat and head to Viet Hai Village. Enjoy a cycling trip along the village paths, passing through rainforests and dark tunnels. Admire the stunning rice field scenery along the way. Stop at the village to relax and visit an ancient local house made of straw, mud, and bamboo. You will have the opportunity to experience the daily life of the local people in this peaceful valley. An electric car service is also available at an additional cost.

12:00 PM: Enjoy lunch featuring our signature set menu on the day boat.

01:45 PM: Enjoy free kayaking and swimming in the Ba Ham Lake area, located in the middle of a narrow, rectangular area enclosed on all four sides by vertical cliffs (weather permitting).

04:00 PM: Return to Sapphire Cruise and take some time to freshen up, nap, or simply relax at your leisure as we cruise to our overnight anchorage. Witness one of the most spectacular sunsets you will ever see.

05:30 PM – 06:30 PM: The bar opens for Happy Hour.

06:00 PM: Enjoy a cooking demonstration and discover Vietnamese cuisine as you learn how to make traditional spring rolls.

07:15 PM: A special dinner will be served, offering outstanding food and quality service.

08:45 PM – 12:00 AM: The evening is yours to enjoy as you please. Tonight, we will host a movie night with a selection of films to choose from. We also offer a selection of board games for your entertainment. Our bar remains open and is an ideal place to meet new people and share stories about your adventures.

Day 3: Lan Ha Bay - Hanoi

06:30: The nicest time of the day on Lan Ha Bay is in the morning. Head to the upper deck to participate in our daily Tai Chi sessions. Relax with an early morning cup of tea, coffee, or juice anywhere you wish on the boat and watch the never-ending, miraculous scenery unfold before you.

07:00: A light breakfast will be served in our restaurant (pastries, tea, and coffee).

07:30 – 09:15: Enjoy the last stage of your trip to Dark & Bright Cave and the islets by local rowing boats, exploring their wild and mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage Site. Return to our main boat afterward.

09:30: Check out of your cabin as we draw closer to the mainland. After a final early brunch and a last goodbye from our crew at 11:30, you will board our tender and head back to the wharf, where you will be met by your return-trip vehicle for the transfer to Hanoi.

12:10 – 12:30: Get on the luxury van and return to Hanoi.
