    For almost of our tours, once tour is confirmed and fully paid but for one reason they cancel the tour, the following charges will apply in the event of cancellation prior to tour commencement:

    • More than 30 days before arrival: No charge
    • 15-30 days before arrival: 10% of total tour price.
    • 7-15 days before arrival: 50% of total tour price.
    • 4-7 days before arrival: 75% of total tour price.
    • Within 3 days before arrival: 100% tour price.

    Notes:

    • There will be no refund given for any unused or missed ground arrangements, sightseeing, meals or hotel accommodations.
    • For no show cases, there will be no refund.
    • All cancellations must be in person or in writing and received by us

    In case of an unexpected situation/ bad weather causes an effect on your trip after commencement, we serve the right to change the itinerary of your booked tour for the safety of all clients in the group. If there are more than one solution, we will ask for your permission and agreement to do the next step. In such kind of cancellation, the refund of any payment on the un-used portion of transportation service, hotel service, car rental or tours will be given.

Itineraries

Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay

07:30–08:30: Optional shuttle bus pickup service in Hanoi’s Old Quarter.

12:15: Board the Valentine Cruise at Tuan Chau Port. To save time, the crew will assist you with cabin check-in and provide safety instructions and other important information. Enjoy a welcome drink on board.

13:15: Enjoy lunch on board, featuring a variety of Vietnamese dishes.

14:00: The cruise sails past some of Ha Long Bay’s most famous attractions, including Incense Burner Islet, Dog Stone Islet, Fighting Cock Islet, and Finger Islet. Admire the spectacular seascape, with towering cliffs and impressive caves.

16:00: Visit Sung Sot Cave (Surprise Cave), renowned as one of the largest caves in Ha Long Bay. Explore its impressive rock formations and enjoy the cave’s remarkable natural beauty.

17:30: Return to the boat as it heads to its overnight anchorage.

18:30: Join a fruit and vegetable carving lesson led by the head chef. Learn how to decorate dishes beautifully and prepare some simple traditional Vietnamese dishes.

19:30: Enjoy dinner on board.

20:45: Relax with board games such as cards or Parcheesi, or enjoy a massage. You can also try squid fishing with assistance from the crew.

21:00: Enjoy Happy Hour: buy one drink and get one free (excluding bottled wine).

23:00: Overnight on board.

Day 2: Halong Bay – Hanoi

06:30: Wake up and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. Breakfast pastries are served in the restaurant.

06:45: Join a Tai Chi session on the sundeck. This practice emphasizes harmony between the mind and body, helping improve well-being and promote mental calmness. The session lasts approximately 30 minutes.

07:45: Transfer to Titov Island, located in the heart of Ha Long Bay. Although small, the island is a popular and beautiful destination. You can climb to the summit for panoramic views, swim at the clear-water beach, sunbathe, relax in a deck chair, or sip a refreshing coconut.

09:00: Return to the Valentine Cruise to relax and pack your belongings before checking out. You will have 30 minutes to prepare. Please leave your luggage outside your cabin so the crew can transfer it to the pier.

09:30: Enjoy a full breakfast in the restaurant. Relax on the sundeck or sit in the dining room and admire the views of Ha Long Bay as the cruise heads back to the pier. Settle any outstanding bills after breakfast.

11:00: Arrive at Tuan Chau Port and disembark. Take a short break in the pier building while waiting for your transfer vehicle.

Around 17:00: Arrive back in Hanoi.

The Valentine cruise itself was superb. Its a five berth boat but we were the only guests. We took the overnight cruise with a view to having a relaxing couple of days before return to hectic Hanoi. It was very relaxing and we felt very spoilt. The food was delicious, there was so much of it too. The barman was on hand 24/7 as was the tour guide (Hugh) and they really looked after us, also giving us time plenty of private time for ourselves. Squid fishing was great fun. The only disappointment was Halong bay itself. It really is a very beautiful place and a UNESCO site but the rubbish in the water is so sad to see. Also we did not expect so many boats it really was crowded. I still feel privileged however to have seen it now as I can only see the pollution worsening .

We spent two days and one night on the junk Valentine to visit Halong Bay. The junk offered two bedrooms just for our friends and us. A unique experience of having a boat and its crew at your disposal. Private boat to visit atypical places. The room had a king size bed and a rather small bathroom but with an impeccable shower and jaccuzi. The chef took the opportunity to concoct us delicious meals with seafood. To live absolutely.

we did a 2 day cruise and 1 night on the junk Valentine, we were delighted with the quality of the boat and the benefits on board. The cabins are very comfortable, the food is fine and the service is professional and friendly. There are only 5 cabins for 2 people, so it's very quiet and intimate. A beautiful experience!
