For almost of our tours, once tour is confirmed and fully paid but for one reason they cancel the tour, the following charges will apply in the event of cancellation prior to tour commencement:
- More than 30 days before arrival: No charge
- 15-30 days before arrival: 10% of total tour price.
- 7-15 days before arrival: 50% of total tour price.
- 4-7 days before arrival: 75% of total tour price.
- Within 3 days before arrival: 100% tour price.
Notes:
- There will be no refund given for any unused or missed ground arrangements, sightseeing, meals or hotel accommodations.
- For no show cases, there will be no refund.

In case of an unexpected situation/ bad weather causes an effect on your trip after commencement, we serve the right to change the itinerary of your booked tour for the safety of all clients in the group. If there are more than one solution, we will ask for your permission and agreement to do the next step. In such kind of cancellation, the refund of any payment on the un-used portion of transportation service, hotel service, car rental or tours will be given.

- Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay

07:30 – 08:30 Optional shuttle bus pick-up service from hotels in Hanoi's Old Quarter.
12:15 Embark on the Valentine boat at Tuan Chau Port. To save time, the crew will guide you through the cabin check-in process and provide safety instructions and other important information. Enjoy your welcome drink.
13:15 Enjoy lunch on board, featuring a variety of Vietnamese dishes.
14:00 The boat cruises past some of Halong Bay's most famous attractions, including Incense Burner Islet, Dog Stone Islet, Fighting Cock Islet, and Finger Islet. Admire the stunning scenery and enjoy the breathtaking seascapes, towering limestone cliffs, and impressive caves.
16:00 Visit Surprise Cave, known as the largest cave in Halong Bay. Inside, admire the spectacular scenery, including clear-water lakes, green forests, and rock formations in a variety of shapes.
17:30 Return to the boat and cruise to the overnight anchorage.
18:30 If you are interested in cooking, join the fruit and vegetable carving lesson. The head chef will guide you in creating decorative garnishes to make your meals at home more appealing. You will also learn how to prepare some simple traditional Vietnamese dishes.
19:30 Enjoy dinner on board.
20:45 Enjoy your leisure time. Play board games such as cards or Parcheesi, or treat yourself to a massage. You can also try squid fishing on board with assistance from the crew.
21:00 Happy hour! Buy one drink and get one free (excluding bottled wine).
23:00 Overnight on board.

- Day 2: Halong Bay – Hanoi

06:30 Wake up to a cup of tea or coffee. Breakfast pastries are served in the restaurant.
06:45 Take part in a Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck. The session emphasizes bringing harmony between the inner and outer self through the integration of mind and body. It helps improve health and calm the mind. The lesson lasts about 30 minutes.
07:45 Transfer to Titov Island, located in the heart of Halong Bay. The island is relatively small but beautiful and is a popular destination among visitors to Halong Bay. You can explore the island by climbing to the summit, swimming at the clear-water beach, sunbathing, or relaxing in a deck chair while sipping a coconut.
09:00 Return to the Valentine boat to relax and pack your belongings before checking out. You will have 30 minutes to prepare, after which you should leave your heavy luggage outside your cabin for the crew to transfer to the pier.
09:30 Enjoy a full breakfast in the restaurant. You can then relax on the deck or sit in the dining room and admire the views of Halong Bay as the cruise heads back to the pier. Settle your bill after breakfast.
11:00 Arrive at Tuan Chau Port and disembark. Take a break in the pier building while waiting for your vehicle to pick you up. Return to Hanoi, arriving at around 17:00.

The Valentine cruise itself was superb. Its a five berth boat but we were the only guests. We took the overnight cruise with a view to having a relaxing couple of days before return to hectic Hanoi. It was very relaxing and we felt very spoilt. The food was delicious, there was so much of it too. The barman was on hand 24/7 as was the tour guide (Hugh) and they really looked after us, also giving us time plenty of private time for ourselves. Squid fishing was great fun. The only disappointment was Halong bay itself. It really is a very beautiful place and a UNESCO site but the rubbish in the water is so sad to see. Also we did not expect so many boats it really was crowded. I still feel privileged however to have seen it now as I can only see the pollution worsening .

We had a full day with an overnight stay on this boat out amongst the scenic and photogenic bay full of tiny islands. The accommodation, the crew and the food was perfect with plenty of time to relax, take photos and explore some of the islands. We highly recommend this experience, bring a sun hat and camera and enjoy the delicious fresh food prepared on board and sample a good selection of fine wines. Getting to the boat departure terminal can take longer than expected as the traffic is chaotic and the road in, basic.
