    For almost of our tours, once tour is confirmed and fully paid but for one reason they cancel the tour, the following charges will apply in the event of cancellation prior to tour commencement:

    • More than 30 days before arrival: No charge
    • 15-30 days before arrival: 10% of total tour price.
    • 7-15 days before arrival: 50% of total tour price.
    • 4-7 days before arrival: 75% of total tour price.
    • Within 3 days before arrival: 100% tour price.

    Notes:

    • There will be no refund given for any unused or missed ground arrangements, sightseeing, meals or hotel accommodations.
    • For no show cases, there will be no refund.
    • All cancellations must be in person or in writing and received by us
  • Cancellation by Weather

    In case of an unexpected situation/ bad weather causes an effect on your trip after commencement, we serve the right to change the itinerary of your booked tour for the safety of all clients in the group. If there are more than one solution, we will ask for your permission and agreement to do the next step. In such kind of cancellation, the refund of any payment on the un-used portion of transportation service, hotel service, car rental or tours will be given.

Itineraries

Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay

07:30–08:30: Optional shuttle bus pickup from Hanoi’s Old Quarter.

12:15: Board the Valentine Premium at Tuan Chau Port. The crew will assist you with cabin check-in and provide important safety instructions and other information. Enjoy a welcome drink as you settle in.

13:15: Enjoy lunch on board, featuring a variety of Vietnamese dishes.

14:00: Cruise through Halong Bay and admire some of its most famous landmarks, including Incense Burner Islet, Dog Stone Islet, Fighting Cock Islet, and Finger Islet. Take in the breathtaking seascapes, towering limestone cliffs, and fascinating caves along the way.

16:00: Visit Sung Sot Cave (Surprise Cave), one of the largest caves in Halong Bay. Explore its impressive formations and admire the spectacular natural scenery inside.

17:30: Return to the boat and cruise to the overnight anchorage.

18:30: Join a fruit and vegetable carving lesson led by the head chef. Learn decorative techniques to make your meals more appealing at home, as well as how to prepare some simple traditional Vietnamese dishes.

19:30: Enjoy dinner on board.

20:45: Enjoy your leisure time. Play board games such as cards or Parcheesi, treat yourself to a massage, or try squid fishing with assistance from the crew.

21:00: Enjoy Happy Hour: buy one drink and get one free. (Bottles of wine are excluded.)

23:00: Spend the night on board.

Day 2: Halong Bay

06:30: Wake up and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with breakfast pastries served in the restaurant.

06:45: Join a Tai Chi session on the sundeck. This practice emphasizes harmony between the inner and outer self through the integration of mind and body. It helps promote physical well-being and mental relaxation. The session lasts approximately 30 minutes.

07:45: Enjoy a full breakfast in the restaurant.

08:45: Board the Indochina Sails Day Boat, a comfortable wooden junk equipped with a lounge, dining room, and sundeck, to explore the quieter areas of the bay.

Enjoy a range of outdoor activities, including a visit to Luon Cave in the southern part of Halong Bay. The cave is surrounded by a rich and diverse ecosystem, and its lake supports numerous species of fish, shellfish, and molluscs. You may also spot golden-haired monkeys climbing the cliffs or fragrant orchids growing among the rocky outcrops.

10:30: Discover Cua Van Floating Village, one of the largest fishing villages in the bay. Explore the village by kayak with a tour guide or take a sampan rowed by local villagers.

12:30: Return to the boat and enjoy lunch on board.

14:30: Visit a pearl farm to learn about pearl harvesting and the process of making pearl necklaces.

15:30: Return to Valentine Premium and relax on board while cruising to the overnight anchorage.

19:30: Enjoy dinner on board.

20:45: Relax at your leisure. Play board games such as cards or Parcheesi, enjoy a massage, or try squid fishing with assistance from the crew.

21:00: Enjoy Happy Hour: buy one drink and get one free. (Bottles of wine are excluded.)

23:00: Spend the night on board.

Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi

07:45: Visit Titov Island, located in the heart of Halong Bay. Although small, the island is a popular destination for visitors. Climb to the summit for panoramic views, swim at the clear-water beach, sunbathe, or relax in a deck chair while sipping a coconut.

09:00: Return to the Valentine Premium to relax and pack before checking out. You will have 30 minutes to prepare your belongings. Please place your large luggage outside your cabin so the crew can transfer it to the pier.

09:30: Enjoy a full breakfast in the restaurant. Relax on the deck or sit in the dining room and admire the scenery as the cruise heads back to the pier. Settle your bill after breakfast.

11:00: Arrive at Tuan Chau Port and disembark. Take a break in the pier building while waiting for your transfer vehicle.

Around 17:00: Arrive back in Hanoi.

We were very well received on this rather small boat, 5 cabins and a suite upstairs. Luckily we benefited from the suite, very large cabin and bathroom all wood (30 m2) great comfort !! On the other hand we did not see the size of the cabins, but bcp smaller. The boat is extremely well maintained The food is excellent, as well as the service. The entire crew is at your service. The previous comment is not inviting but I think it's by accident. In short we are delighted with this stay on the Valentine Cruise and we highly recommend it.
