Ho Chi Minh City Chinatown Tour

The tour can start at either 9:00 AM or 2:00 PM, depending on your booking.

Our guide will meet you at your hotel before starting the Chinatown Tour. As Thien Hau Temple is too far from the city center to reach on foot, taking a taxi will be a more convenient way to get there.

The tour begins with a visit to Cho Lon, Saigon’s Chinatown, home to one of the largest Chinese communities in southern Vietnam.

We will visit the following two temples:

  • Thien Hau Temple (Tue Thanh Hoi Quan): Built in the early 19th century, this temple is dedicated to Thien Hau, also known as the Lady of the Sea. It is not only a valuable historical, architectural, and sculptural landmark but also an important religious site for the Chinese-Vietnamese community in Ho Chi Minh City.

  • Quan Cong Temple (Nghia An Hoi Quan): Notable for its gilded woodwork, this temple was built in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It is known as an important assembly hall of the Chaozhou Chinese community in Saigon.

Afterward, we will visit one of the following two destinations:

  • Cha Tam Church: One of the oldest churches serving Chinese-Vietnamese Christians in Cho Lon, it has witnessed several significant historical events.

  • Cuong Ky Mi Gia: A local eatery on Ha Ton Quyen Street, an area known for its wide variety of dumplings and Chinese-style cuisine.

Our Chinatown tours can be tailored to your needs and interests, allowing you to personalize the itinerary by selecting from the destinations mentioned above.

The tour ends at around 12:00 PM for the morning tour or 5:00 PM for the afternoon tour.

    Hi , I understand the tour required two days in advance but I am leaving on Thursday 19/09/2019 isit possible to find a student guide for tomorrow to go Chinatown at 5pm?
