For almost of our tours, once tour is confirmed and fully paid but for one reason they cancel the tour, the following charges will apply in the event of cancellation prior to tour commencement:
- More than 30 days before arrival: No charge
- 15-30 days before arrival: 10% of total tour price.
- 7-15 days before arrival: 50% of total tour price.
- 4-7 days before arrival: 75% of total tour price.
- Within 3 days before arrival: 100% tour price.
Notes:
- There will be no refund given for any unused or missed ground arrangements, sightseeing, meals or hotel accommodations.
- For no show cases, there will be no refund.

In case of an unexpected situation/ bad weather causes an effect on your trip after commencement, we serve the right to change the itinerary of your booked tour for the safety of all clients in the group. If there are more than one solution, we will ask for your permission and agreement to do the next step. In such kind of cancellation, the refund of any payment on the un-used portion of transportation service, hotel service, car rental or tours will be given.

- Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay

07:30 – 08:30 Optional shuttle bus pickup service in the Old Quarter.
12:15 Board the boat at Tuan Chau Port. Enjoy a welcome drink, followed by a cruise briefing and safety instructions.
13:15 – 14:00 Enjoy a deluxe Vietnamese set-menu lunch. Massage services are available after lunch and throughout the cruise. Please book in advance with your Cruise Manager. Drink vouchers are available from 15:00 to 18:00. Please check with the crew for current promotions. These vouchers are not included in the cruise rate.
14:00 – 16:00 Cruise through Ha Long Bay, passing some of its most beautiful and tranquil areas, including Incense Burner Islet, Dog Stone Islet, Fighting Cock Islet, and Finger Islet.
16:00 Visit Sung Sot Cave (Surprise Cave), one of the largest and most spectacular caves in Ha Long Bay. The cave entrance is reached by climbing approximately 100 stone steps.
18:00 Depart from the cave area and sail for approximately 30 minutes to the overnight anchorage.
18:30 – 19:00 Join a fruit and vegetable carving demonstration led by our Head Chef. Learn how to carve fruits and vegetables and create decorative designs used in traditional Vietnamese cuisine.
19:30 Dinner is served.
20:45 Enjoy evening activities, including board games such as cards and Parcheesi. Massage services are also available throughout the cruise. You can also try squid fishing from the boat with assistance from the crew.
21:00 – 23:00 Happy Hour! Buy one drink and get one free. (Bottles of wine are excluded.)

06:45 Enjoy a Tai Chi session on the sundeck, lasting approximately 30 minutes.
07:45 Enjoy breakfast in the dining room. Massage services are available after lunch and throughout the cruise. Please book in advance with your Cruise Manager. Drink vouchers are available from 15:00 to 18:00.
08:45 – 10:15 Transfer to the Indochina Sails Day Boat, a spacious and comfortable wooden junk featuring a lounge, dining room, and sundeck. Enjoy a cruise through the quieter areas of the bay and visit Luon Cave, where golden-haired monkeys may sometimes be spotted.
10:30 Explore Cua Van Floating Village, one of the largest fishing villages in Ha Long Bay. Choose between kayaking through the village or exploring it aboard a small bamboo boat (sampan) rowed by a local villager. Guests who choose kayaking will paddle in two-seater kayaks from the boat through the village and back, accompanied by a kayaking guide.
12:30 Enjoy lunch on board.
14:30 After lunch, visit a pearl farm and learn about pearl cultivation.
15:30 Return by tender to the Indochina Sails boat. Rejoin the cruise and relax on board as the boat sails to the overnight anchorage.
19:30 Dinner is served.

07:45 – 09:00 Transfer by tender to Titov Island. Spend approximately one hour on the island, with time to climb the steps to the summit for breathtaking 360-degree views of the bay. There is also a spacious viewing platform halfway up. After the climb, relax on the beach or enjoy a swim.
09:00 Return to the boat and take 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing. Please remove all personal belongings from your cabin. Heavy luggage may be left outside the cabins for the staff to transfer directly to the pier.
09:30 Enjoy breakfast in the dining room. Settle your bills after breakfast. Relax on the sundeck or in the dining room and enjoy the bay scenery as the boat approaches the pier.
11:00 Arrive at Tuan Chau Port. Relax inside the pier building while waiting for your return transportation.

We took a trip to Halong Bay for three days and two nights and were very happy with our experience with Indochina Sails. We were collected by mini bus and driven the 3 hours to Halong Bay from Hanoi, where we met our guide and were then taken out to our boat. From the very start everything was perfect. The room/cabin was lovely and spacious with a door to a small balcony. The food for the whole trip was amazing! We were the only couple in our group to stay for two days, so when we got transferred to the day boat on the second day we had it all to ourselves complete with our own crew. We felt very special and were treated to a fun filled and exciting day. My Wife and I would certainly recommend Indochina Sails.

Everything was perfect! Stayed on the boat 3 days/2 nights. The boat (maybe needs some renovation at some points but sea and salt are very aggressive, so some marks of the years seem normal) was so nice and really out of one of the pirates of the carribean Movies. Great Food! Breakfast and Dinner as Buffet, lunch as menu - very tasty and fresh! Prices for beverages are okay, not included in the Price for the cabin. The staff is very warm and welcoming, available at any time. The Programm is really nice. We did the suprise cave (biggest one in Halong Bay) and our guide David have us a Lot of Information. On the Second day, you Switch to a day boat (the Big one tansfer the other guests, who Stay only one night on the boat back). The day boat is also very comfortable with a sundeck and a climatisation in the Lounge. We were the First Group at every sight (very important, because it’s very crowded somtimes in the Bay), saw Monkeys and did the Kayak Tour through the floating village.

We had 2 nights on board and David was our captain and Wendy his side kick. Having sold the ship to many clients over the years it was good to have the opportunity to experience the trip. All staff were excellent, welcoming, professional and happy. Cabins were comfortable and clean and the food was excellent, even accommodating to the fact that we struggled with fish. Thank you David and staff we had fun, from the four guests that tipped on that day.
